3 Tips To Be Prepared For Your Proposal
Do you think your significant other is going to propose to you soon?!?! I am SO excited for you!!!
Getting engaged is one of the most exciting times in a couples life!!! It’s one of the most beautiful moments that every girl has anticipated basically her entire life! So naturally, we want to make sure we’re looking our absolute best so when that moment happens it’s just as beautiful as we’ve been picturing it in our minds!
Below are 3 Tips To Be Prepared For Your Proposal!!!!
Get your nails painted frequently or at least keep them clear of chipped polish!
After they propose you’re going to want to take photos of that beautiful new ring and share it with the world!!! So one of the most important tips to be prepared for your proposal would be to make sure you’re nails are in tip top shape at all times!!!
Whether this be getting a regular manicure, painting your nails weekly, or just making sure your nails are clear of chipped nail polish! It’s up to you!
You don’t want the beautiful photos showcasing your ring to be ruined by chipped nail polish!
Dress up a little bit more than what you usually do and have at least basic makeup applied every day!
Another one of the important tips to be prepared for your proposal!! Let me tell you the story about OUR proposal so you can see why I say this tip is important!!!
Our Fourth of July Proposal Story!
8.5 years ago my handsome husband had made plans to propose to me over the Fourth of July! My husband knew how much horses meant to me and how much I loved riding!!! He had made plans for us to go riding together that day, have a picnic underneath a giant tree, and then asking me to marry him overlooking my families ranch!
Things were going as planned until my horse decided to go one way and my husband went off the other way! Which resulted in him hitting his shoulder pretty hard on the ground. That ended the riding portion of it because I made him come back home to make sure he was ok.
Sitting on my parents couch, in our not so cute PJ’s no less, he still asked me to marry him! It was still one of the sweetest moments in our relationship!
He played a song for me on his guitar, handed me his phone with a photo of the ring (which almost got crushed when he fell off by the way!), and asked me to be his wife!
My tip for you!
The ONE thing that I still regret to this day for our proposal, is not being dressed up or having my makeup done. I had this vision in my head of this moment! I was all dressed up, we would be riding together, and cuddling watching the sunset together when he proposed.
(Yes, his proposal plan fit right in with my vision almost exactly!)
So my advice to you, if you think he’s going to propose soon, is to dress up more than you usually do and wear your makeup daily. Even if it’s only basic makeup! Even if it’s just jeans with a cute top and some cute shoes!
Hint to your friends and family to have him hire a proposal photographer to capture the beautiful moment!
This is one of my absolute favorite tips to be prepared for your proposal and one of the most important!
This moment is a moment you will treasure for the rest of your lives together and one of the stories that will be most frequently told! You deserve to have beautiful, professional photos to go along with it and to remember it by!
His nervous expression as he goes down on one knee! Your look of complete surprise, love, and happiness! The tears and the sweet embrace after you say yes!
All of it!!! You deserve to have photographs of this incredible moment!
So my advice to you would be to get your family and friends on board to help him hire a proposal photographer for this once in a lifetime memory!
